Accelerating change for businesses and governments
We have the unique ability to bring together multiple stakeholders and accelerate change in behaviour in ways that neither governments nor individual companies can working on their own.
Working with businesses
Working with businesses we can help facilitate change within their own operations as well as along their entire supply chains. We work with businesses themselves and with industry bodies, for example our work with IGD on our pioneering Food Waste Reduction Roadmap, which is making tackling food waste with its Target-Measure-Act approach.
Working with governments
We work with governments throughout the world to shape policy and develop and deliver practical interventions to help deliver against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals targets 12.3 and 12.5.
In Wales, for example, we work on behalf of the Welsh Government to provide strategic, technical and operational support to local authorities to help them reach the statutory target of 70% recycling by 2025 and the goal of being zero waste by 2050. This Collaborative Change Programme has worked with every council in Wales in some way, and played a critical role in making Wales’ recycling rate among the highest in the world.
