Trade associations

Introduction

WRAP welcomes the support of trade associations in the areas of food and drink, plastics and packaging, and textiles.

WRAP's vision of a world in which resources are used sustainably is central to our work with businesses in these sectors.

What is WRAP doing?

Trade associations play a vital role in our voluntary commitments and wider work in representing the thousands of businesses large and small in the development of tools and making the guidance accessible to their members.

We convene trade associations to help businesses work towards common targets under the Courtauld Commitment, The UK Plastics Pact, the Sustainable Clothing Action Plan and our new voluntary initiative for the clothing and textiles sector, Textiles 2030

Trade associations also provide vital support under the UK Food Waste Reduction Roadmap, helping food businesses take targeted action to reduce waste in their own operations, their supply chain and from consumers in support of the UN's Sustainable Development Goal 12.3.
