Introduction to the power and potential of the eTEEP tool
03 July 2025 14:00 BST

Simpler Recycling legislation requires local authorities to collect, as a minimum, paper and card separately from other dry recyclables (plastic, metal and glass) unless it is not technically or economically practicable or there is no significant environmental benefit. A written assessment is required where one or more of these apply.

In this session we will provide a demonstration of WRAP's new tool, designed to support Local Authorities with preparation of their written assessments.

Introducing CarbonWARM2
16 July 2025 10:00 BST

CarbonWARM2 is the latest version of the Carbon Waste and Resources Metric developed by WRAP on behalf of Defra. This updated version provides conversion factors that enable organisations to assess the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with waste management practices, expressed in carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). It serves as an essential tool for evaluating and improving waste management strategies.

The webinar will run through the aims and objectives of the tool and highlight the updates in this enhanced version. We will also apply it to some real life LA examples to show it in practice.
