WRAP's commitment to Net Zero

Reducing environmental impact lies at the heart of WRAP’s mission. We collaborate with governments, businesses, and individuals to optimise resource use and deliver tangible environmental benefits, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

As a global environmental action NGO, WRAP is transforming product and food systems to create a future of Circular Living. We approach sustainability challenges through the lens of everyday life, reshaping the systems that produce and deliver the products we consume. By inspiring action from policymakers, businesses, NGOs, and citizens alike, we turn ambition into impact.

WRAP has been carbon neutral since 2022 - 28 years ahead of the UK government’s 2050 target. We report no emissions in scope 1 or scope 2, and to achieve Net Zero, we measure our scope 3 emissions and offset any that cannot yet be eliminated.

We are proud to share our 2024 Carbon Reduction Plan, which outlines our emissions and details how we are addressing them - moving beyond offsets toward meaningful, measurable reductions wherever possible. Through systematic identification and targeted action, we are tackling emissions at their source.

WRAP is also certified as a Carbon Neutral organisation by Carbon Neutral Britain.
